Koh Tao

Southeast Asia plays a special role in my life as it would to anyone who appreciates wild beauty, laughter and a bit of chaos.

Tucked below China and dipping into warm tropical waters that seem to breathe fresh air into your soul, I found a home for a few chapters of my life in Thailand. From the mainland I took a speed boat across the gulf of Thailand to the island of Koh Tao. This is a rustic place for savvy travelers and lovers of the great ocean gardens. Time has a way of standing still on the island with waves gently lapping the shore as the jungle encroaches upon local huts built into hillsides.

If you ever find time to be a guest on the island there are daily snorkeling tours readily available to the nearby uninhabited islands where you can play your own version of Cast Away.
